Inside The Hive

Positivity is pouring into The Hive I have had only a positive response from all those who comment or I talk with about us. I have being visiting other rooms on discord and meeting new people. Some interesting people for different reasons, Their views on things, projects they are involved in both digital and physical world, various arts crafts music. Different cultures and its all friendly, it's respectful, thoughts are given to others in the conversation and consideration to their posts. It's a learning curve for me, to see how far I will have to go to stand by the shoulder of those I now look to.

The first thing I would like to touch on is votes. After having a couple of conversations with others. Hearing the problems newer members or those who are still raising their SP. A slight alteration to the voting system may be required to accommodate these members in our group.
I invite all opinions on this as it does concern everyone.
The ability to spend 3 votes in the group is not viable for every user and their ability to interact with others from other area's of Steemit. Our goal is not to restrict members growth or interactions they choose to make on Steemit. Fair to one is always unfair to another in some manner. Leaning toward assisting others to grow and remain in Steemit if they are new to the platform, or having difficulty in gaining growth, we can encourage their continued use of Steemit with our votes to them.
A division in the curation channel is proposed here in an effort to remove pressure from low SP members. I have felt some nervousness from some about the votes.
The curation trail could be divided, Not the vote%. This is specifically designed for those with low SP.
The curation trail channel is was set up to rewad those who vote on all three posts, while this seems fair to me, it appears very unfair to those with lower SP.
Quick Breakdown
With 100 SP. 3 votes an a value of 40%
With 50 SP or greater members wishing to partake in the extra vote, from the curation trail. Would be expected to vote on at least 2 posts with a % of 50%
With 25 SP or below. 1 vote per day at 100%
This is an effort to allow new members to Steemit to interact with others in other groups or other area's of Steemit with their votes. and will use up no ore than 1.2 if a vote max
These are open to each individual to decide on which chanel they would like to have their name listed in.
Note: Use of the automated vote system enables the % setting for those with low SP.

I would like to express to any voting with a low % weight, The returns on the curation trail are related to the vote value you place, voting with a lower % will bring a lower reward and at times no reward with a higher frequency.

On our SP strength, It was suggested to ask for a donation of a small amount from members to assist everyone grow, It sounds like a good Idea. It is. Me being me though, I set this group up in a method that was small, to have the group form at no financial cost to anyone. Although some have lost income with the delegation gone from my own account at least and my vote dropped, There was no outlay cost to our beginning. All the delegates get a little back for their delegation in rewards. The Hive does gain the value of the vote but the delegation remains with the SP owner. Should any wish to donate a small delegation, great, if not, that is ok and not expected. We are not a pressure group we rely on members doing their part to help others help them.

@asapers @cryptoempire @IFC @newbiegames these four groups have proved to be beneficial to myself. And everyone should be able to find a spot to sit in at least one of them.
Discord is full of many groups who work on the Steemit platform, and being a member of any of those groups will provide windows of opportunity.

Recently, The Hive voted Danielsaori as a witness, I voted for Daniel as I have noticed him involved in projects which promote community and team work, while also looking out for the smaller under-dog, not an easy thing to do on a continuous basis. I am beginning to look to other witness to vote too. I am thinking next to go to SteemCommunity I have being hearing the name being said often recently. no harm in looking and reading their profile.

If you are a witness and feel our group may be aligned with your views. We would really like to hear your reasons to vote for you. We are focused primarily on the group growth and member value, we intend to expand out reach with time to other areas of common well being.
