The Hive Moving Forward.

Howdy folks'.
I generally work the group of a set of morals based around equality. Equality is a hard thing to distribute, efforts from each individual vary for many reasons. The biggest thing holding back equality is finance. Why should one person reap the rewards of the efforts of others. They probably should not. This brings another question to mind, Should an investor of finance gain all the rewards?

In my mind that is where the balance gets off-set. To write a program that every can use. The author of the program is entitled to remuneration for the effort. In some cases these efforts are rewarded with too much generosity. Is there a point where the software should be free?

In the case of music, Should there be a set top earning an artist or song writer can make in profits? Should a song be free for everyone to record after it reaches so much in earnings?

When an author creates a masterpiece, Take for example Shakespeare, Should these publications be done on a cost of production price? Shakespeare is no longer here to reap the rewards for those works.

I bring the questions above, not to open a door to a debate on those particular points, more to open the doors on equality in The Hive group itself.
We are only starting off, a couple of months into our project. I feel we are progressing with it too.
The encouragement I get to keep going, only makes me wish I could do more and faster.

In an effort to keep the equality of out put for input taking into account the level of SP people have to play with. Names in the promotions channels have being bypassed, skipped over, not voted on due to no interactions with other members. Sorry, but there are no handouts.
We do not give these votes out for voting on The Hive group posts. we give these votes for working together.

How does The Hive group help you grow?
The Hive works on rewarding group activity. The idea behind the group is working together we can all grow quicker. Right now with the drop in the market price we need to work together even more so.

Each vote given by you to the group account or another member grows you. The members in the group you vote on will also then vote back to you just a bit stronger. This means your rewards are just a little bit bigger. This all amounts to % of a penny gained and a % of a penny rewards. If you pool 25 of those % of a penny together you get a full penny.

Each day, we select three posts from our members. Chosen in order of their name. These three posts are promoted in one of our channels and the suggested posts of the day to vote on. Voting on these posts in turn gets your own post promoted in the same manner.

In addition to this we also provide an individual vote for participation in the promotions. We recommend to our members and others to have an @dustsweeper account to make the best use of votes to your comments.
From Monday we will begin to divide the individual vote to two parts, we will vote twice on your comments at 50% this will double the reward we are able to provide. Our vote although displaying a value of 0.02 is actually below the threshold for payout and a vote from @dustsweeper will be required to reach the balance. This will double the reward gained from that individual vote.

Overall I think we are very fair to members, our only request is member vote fair in return to other members. I appreciate the effort time and votes you all have shared with each other and the group. We are going somewhere slowly :) Let's build up this Steem and get this honey engine running.

At the moment The Hive is looking into group comment votes as a reward.
This would mean you get a vote to your comment a maximum of two per day for a seven day period.

The reason why a member would receive this additional vote has not yet being decided. The floor is open to discussion on this. This reward is not available yet, I do have reasonable expectations of the ability to bring it to fruition in a 2 or 3 months' time.
