The Hive, Everyone's Opinion Counts.

The Hive Everyone has an Opinion.

Howdy folks'.

We all have them everyday. We chew on them and the appetite grows even more. They can take us to places we have never seen. They are best, when they are used for progress in most cases. (The exception to these cases I feel is when the progress is designed for just one). They can all be different and all hold an equal value. To dismiss one without consideration is to dismiss progress. If you have not guessed yet, I am still going on about opinion.

Probably our own opinion is the one which is going to feel like everyone should be of that same opinion. If that were the case I would have feck all to write about in this post. Varying opinions are held on all manner of things. From personal taste to cultural difference or belief, personal situations or education all contribute toward the opinions we form. Many other things come into this equation too.

So we have all these opinions that are slightly different in some way. We all have an opinion on what is right and wrong. It is my opinion that many of these opinions that are based on a moral value. The morality of the opinion can come from anywhere in our lives. What we have learned through our lives, the friends we are with, the pain we have lived through and the joy we have felt.

Avoiding going into lame debates about a flat earth or which religion is the right one. Cause we all know the Earth is really a cube and it only appears round from space cause the photograph was taken with a round lens. If you used a square lens it would show its true shape. My religion is the one true religion too, even though I have not thought of a name for it yet.

There are just too many reasons why an opinion can be alternative to the one a person holds. In most cases the opinion of one is not a cause to go to war. Voicing and debating opinion are the things which negate war and bring progress. Respecting others views and values brings more to the table than fighting against them.

Locally, there may not be much variance in opinions for most general things. On a global scale that can get a bit more complicated. This is more due to citizen rights in a specific area. Where in some country's each individual person has an equal right. In some countries women children or people of a segregated community do not have those same rights. On both sides of the planet their view opinion or way of life is considered valid. In some places people are not permitted to have their own opinion.

I can accept you have an alternative opinion.
I do not have to agree with it.

No one opinion holds more value than another.
However, an opinion should always be open to change.

I agree that we should try to be open to changing our opinions about things. Also, this is great:

Respecting others views and values brings more to the table than fighting against them.

Yes. And being able to hear others' opinions can lead to better understanding. It can also lead to a more solid conviction in our own opinions, and that's okay too. ;)

This is where my habit of generalizing can get dangerous for me, people tend to not like when I stereotype traits and come on everyone likes a nice race joke :) ok maybe not everyone but surely religious jokes?

Humour works best when generalizing it softens the blow. Thus if I generalize I am in my opinion obviously since I am typing this and will next use I think.

I think that it helps to remove moral or philosophical blocks to an extent, not completely as some things are just so ingrained you might not even be aware of the biased until you get repeatedly beaten for having it.

If we feel everyone should be of our opinion then it would be best to move into the territory of hypothesis and let's get testing.

I am of the opinion and hopefully can prove that everyone else should also be that people with similar facial features have strong overlap in personality traits. :)

In jokes it it is pun.
Without the pun and intent to form another person opinion, I think it.
That's mentioned in the post on the way out. Coincidentally.

lol I should be on an Island alone then. somewhere off the coast of Ireland.
Going to start throwing pebbles into the sea to build myself an island
