The Good News: Denver Digs Trees by @pheonixwren

A beautiful article by @pheonixwren once again. Denver seems to be a great city. A program called "Denver Digs Trees"is an organization that gives free and low cost trees of both fruit bearing and none fruit bearing trees in neighbourhoods with not a lot of tree cover. The "Denver Digs Trees" program was started in 1991 and is an affiliate program of "The Park People" which started in 1969.

This is an incredible post by @apakapluk where he shares a great #TheGoodNews story with us. The children in this school teamed up with their teachers and some Army soldiers to clean up the school yard from litter. This is just as important and text books perhaps even more important as it teaches them to respect and protect the environment. Thank you for this amazing article @apakapluk :)

Another excellent post with the students cleaning up all the garbage around their school yard. It is so important to teach these children to care. This post has tons of photos and was a really good article. Some of the students also had the task of cutting up a banana tree and feeding the goats. It's always nice to see other cultures and the way life happens for them. One day I will travel to these wonderful places :)

The Good News: Street Fraternity by @pheonixwren

As I'm sure you all are aware @phenoixwren is #TheGoodNews Gazette most famous author. Every week @phenoixwren never fails to submit one sometimes two wonderful good news stories for us to read. In this article "Street Fraternity" a program setup to help young men who suffer from PTSD. These young men who mostly are refugees struggle in society and school do to the lack of community support and living in a dangerous neighbourhood. They have been supplied with a library, computer room, boxing equipment, a studio to record music and a spiritual/meditation area. They also have a kitchen where meals are served. This is amazing and more programs like this are needed and more city's need to implement these facilities.
