Tales of Light Episode II: @adedoyinwealth

For #TheGoodNews this week, I decided to highlight the works of @adedoyinwealth. We will take a look what she has been doing in her community in the town Bwari in Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.

He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor. - Proverbs 22:9

@adedoyinwealth has been helping the poor in her community through the support of @sircork, his @YouAreHope organization, and the generosity of Steemians across the platform.

In the post, you will see her giving alms to the poor and the needy, which include the widowed as well as children. To some, it may seem as if she was only handing out fish and not teaching the people how to fish for themselves. However, if you spend more time through further reading, you'll come to understand that is the least of her doing.

The greatest contribution of @adedoyinwealth to her community, in my opinion, is the sponsoring children for them to receive proper education. The author is literally building the future of society by bringing light into an otherwise dire situation.

For many of us who are outside looking in, we remind ourselves that we live in a privileged society. While there are deficiencies in our education system, it is up to us to make the changes necessary to benefit our children for the society at large.
