Look at the size of these birds! They seem to have been extinct by the year 1200 and they only were found on the island of Madagascar. People do not know for sure but they seem to have been hunted too much and maybe a change in the environment killed their food sources. The image shows them compared to ostriches and a human, and they are gigantic!!! They remind me dinosaurs and I would be scared to see one in the real world!
