THE DIARY GAME : 04/08/2020 : Back to Work

It was another cold morning. I waked up at 6.00 a.m. and started planning my day while having a cup of milk. I planned to fetch some data that need for my final year project, and finalize a one set of data. I wanted to watch a movie too. After making this simple plan of the day, I started downloading some movies via Telegram. It is the fastest and easiest way of downloading movies as I believe😛. After downloading 3 movies I went through the Moodle to check whether there are any updates.

_{What! Assignment in Vacation?}

Even though this is a vacation week, there was one pending assignment submission. 😱 I quickly ping my friends including @yohank to remind them that there is an assignment due. It wasn't that difficult. It's about the consequences of innovations in society. So I spend about an hour to prepare a report on it.

Next, I started working on my data fetching activity. Basically. I wanted to access the Spring Jira repository, to extract some sprint reports and story card details. To do that I used Java with Jira Rest API and Greenhopper APIs. As I am already done with the source code, today I executed it to extract the data.

I passed the repository URL and board ID to from the handler. Then API fetches all the sprint in the particular board, all the issue details of each sprint, and then writes them into files. All the fields were appended into a tab-separated string and then written into a text file. The above image shows the console out, that prints sprint summary.

Then I reopened each tab-separated text file using excel to some further adjustments.

Finally, I saved the files as .csv files. Also wrote a description of each field as for reference of my teammates. It was late to have lunch because of this activity. I felt a slite headache. After lunch I eat two pieces of watermelon. Then I had a long nap. After waked up, I felt good. My university friend @yohank requested some instruction about his Achievement 1 in Newcomer's community. So I helped him. Then after he published it, I welcomed him to steemit.

Then came the most awaited time of the day. I started watching a movie. I always select girlish movies or movies with female heroes. I watched Ocean's 8, which is a heist movie about stealing a diamond necklace, worth 150 million dollars by 7 ladies without revealing any clue. It is interesting and my kind of movie🙈

I paused the movie multiple times as my uncle visited our place one. Then again another aunt visited. How ever finally I finished watching it. Then I had rice as the dinner and cleaned the kitchen.
