THE DIARY GAME : 03/08/2020 : A Cold Rainy Day

We got a one week vacation from the university. So I planned to get a good rest for 3-4 days. As this is the monsoon season, rainfall is very high. I waked up at 6.30 a.m and it was so cold. I went to check whether my dog is home. He is already at home today. Then I cleaned the things he used to play through the night. Even though he bothers us a lot, we all love him. I cleaned the house and after that, I had breakfast.

It was raining continuously. So I couldn't even step outside. With the rain, frogs are coming out. I don't feel comfortable when seen frogs. 🐸 There are lots of big frogs in our garden when raining. But I don't like to go near them to take photos. 🙈 Today is a full moon day. As Buddhists, we celebrate different important incidents in lord buddha's life on each full moon day. In today, we remember the first Dhamma Sangayana. I listen to some good religious programs from the TV in the morning. One is about controlling anger. 😊

After that, as there was nothing to do, I planned to make a key tag using a seashell. Recently I picked up a bag of seashells, now I build different things using them😅. My first challenge was punching the seashell. As it is thick and strong, I used a small nail and a hammer to punch the hole. It should do carefully, otherwise, the shell can be cracked.

I spent 1-2 h to create 3 key tags. Then I took lunch. As today is a full moon poya day, we had a veg diet. There was a mushroom curry, moringa curry, papadam, and green leaves. After having lunch I finished some curation activities in New Comer's Community. Also, I commented on multiple diary posts and replied comments. This is a very interesting activity, that fits very well with a rainy day.

And I didn't forget to find some steemit gossips like who won the spud4steem, who are the new country reps. ☕ Rain is falling continuously with thunder.

At about 4.30 p.m, I went to bed to get covered with warm cloth as it is very cold. But I didn't spend for a long. I went to kitchen to help my mother to cook. We prepared noodles for dinner. I believe I spent a successful day.
