Hey guys hope you people enjoyed the festival of Rakshabandhan today. So starting off my today's diary.

MORNING

As today is the festival festival of rakhi so we got up early in the morning and went to the garden to pluck the flowers for decoration of thali in which rakhi is kept but unfortunately I decorated the thali but forgot to put flowers in it. So after plucking the flowers i went to the terrace to bring the dried clothes of yesterday and coming back i took the bath and got ready for the festival . After getting ready i decorated the thali of rakhi
as you can see from the picture itself how pretty the thali looked. This thali consisted of rakhis , sweets like ladoo and kaju barfi , some rice which we sprinkle on our brother and then tie the rakhis. We Indians also light a diya and put some tika on the forehead of our brothers and give them blessings . The red coloured power is the sindoor and then i tied rakhi to my brother. He gifted me a dress and i was so happy as i got my gift.

Afternoon

Coming to the afternoon mom cooked some tasty food today which included puri kheer and sabji . Generally on every occasion we Indians have a tradition of making something sweet in our house and so the best option available in lockdown is kheer as you get all the ingredients available in house as kheer is made of rice , sugar, milk and some dryfruits which is easily available in everyone's kitchen. So by 1:30 pm our lunch got ready as we all were busy greeting each other the wishes of Rakshabandhan through phone calls.

At sharp 2:00 pm we had our lunch but my mom kept fasting as she had not yet tied rakhi on her brother's wrist . Generally we fast and tie rakhis and then have something so my uncle called her and said to have something as he was in his office till 3:00 pm after hearing it she had her lunch. And then we all took some rest . But what i did was 😆😆 as i am very fond of sweets i saw everyone resting in my house and this was the perfect time to steal sweets from the kitchen and so did i went and stolen 2 sweets from the sweets box as you can see the sweet Box in the picture itself.

Evening

In the evening all the relatives arrived at our place and we celebrated the festival with lots of joy. Mother's brother to whom we call mamaji in India came with my cousins at 5:00 pm so mom got the stuffs ready for the rituals and we both mom and me received gift which was a celebration and some money for me and a dress for mom. There we clicked some pictures of our family

After the celebration mom gave some snacks to the
the guests the snacks consisted of samosa ,kheer, after having the snacks we had a gala time as after 1 complete year i got the chance to meet my cousin's because they stay in another state for their studies and during this pandemic situation they all came home so we talked about our childhood memories how we use to play fight and eat together all the time the at 8:30 pm they went back to their home.

Night

During Night time i and mom was planning what to make for the dinner as i wanted to eat something very simple i insisted her to cook rice dal and vegetables and went back to my room to eat some chocolates given by my cousin brother

The celebration pack consisted 3 diarymilks
2 gems and 2 five-star chocolates so i had 1 five-star and one gems and come back to the kitchen to help my mother in preparation for dinner as she was already very tired due to overload of house hold chores. Sook i took some rice and cleaned them by removing dust particles and stones and wash them thrice with clean water .

Then mom cooked rice and i chopped vegetables which includes potatoes and beans . By 9:30 pm our dinner got ready and i plated the dining table and made chopped salad of knobs and cucumbers for the dinner then mom came and arranged all the plates and we started having our dinner . After completion of my dinner i came back to the garden and saw my dogs lying there and so i played with them for half an hour and went back to write the diary . So now my day has came to an end and hope all my team members of @teaminspiration might also have written their diaries .
