This needs to be said to maintain the integrity of the steemit platform.

And many other accounts participating in this rewards system performed by bots, orchestrated by their creators.

The community will decide whether @dashpaymag was aware of the advantages being offered up. But without a doubt, this bot program is alive and well and needs to be shelved.

Background:

DashPayMag has been receiving generous payouts for author rewards in recent post. That ended when a recent post was flagged for reasons I will not cover here. You can view the post at @dashpaymag blog home.

The flagging of this post led to the removal of @dashpaymag from the bot voting group. The proof provided below will show this bot program in action and also the removal of @dashpaymag.

Observing the active post following the post that was downvoted, I noticed the active post (7 hours old) was not receiving dollar amounts comparative to the previous seven (7) post that were generously rewarded. Although normal in most cases, this peaked my curiosity a bit.

Immediately I started to look at @dashpaymag and the post history. What I found was revealing, yet very disturbing.

Please note:
My objective is not to discuss quality, or if content was deserving of the author reward paid out for each post. But rather to point out the gaming of rewards with voting performed automatically by bots. The bots I will collectively name the "berniesanders campaign".

Now lets take a look at the most recent active post following the downvoted post.

Active post in it's 10th hour

You will notice @berniesanders and steemservices(all four of them) are gone.

These three didn't get the memo.

As you can see members of the @berniesanders campaign are missing. There are other voters missing as well that I have not mentioned. But soon will.

For all the writers who feel your content wasn't given the reward it deserved. You may have a reason to be pissed after seeing what goes on!

I will offer this advice. Continue to write, this will eventually fade away as the community gains awareness and speaks up against it.

So what now?

The bot program is deep.Some serve a purpose in the community, while others like the @berniesanders campaign do not.

These voting bots need to be shelved. The steemit platform has matured in such a way that human curators will provide fair voting across the platform, and not just a chosen few.

Steemit needs to implement a voter delegate system to assist highly weighted voters in distributing rewards to post deserving of such rewards, especially with new memberships on the rise.

I want to take part in the future success of the steemit platform and will not sit back and watch it be destroyed by those not serving the community in goodwill. I will continue to watch these bots, and will not hesitate to bring about true ownership of those operating them. The damage to public perception of the steemit platform may be irreversible if these practices continue.
