The Four Broom Musketeers !@ railway station
The Musketeers ..means the Soldiers...Soldiers who used to fight for the kings and give their lives….the soldiers with the musket in the french army are the real musketeers.
Today , I will introduce Steemitians with the 4 Indian Musketeers , i called them !Broom Musketeers!

The Four boys hardly any of them above 15 years are real soldiers of their lives. Fighting for their livlihood and for their survival. Not sure of their family back ground, or even they have any. I met them in one of the Railway Station, during my trip to native place and hardly get enough time to interact.

The broom musketeers are actually the ragpickers found often in many indian railway station. These boys used to broom and clean the train as they stops in the station and in return they beg or get anything in cash and kind. The passengers give there unused food/cookies or some penny for cleaning their compartment.
Though Indian railway have their own cleaning staff, who regularly maintains the hygiene inside the train, however these boys stays in any of the railway stations and get into any train to earn their livelihood.

The hope of their parents, these kids have no schooling facility or you may say their parents could not afford, enticing these little kids to earn own livelihood. Either by rag picking or by brooming.
When I noticed these kids near the platform pillarss in afternoon, they were counting the earning made so far during the day. Even in their hardship they were playing , smiling and were in jolly mode. They even sharing the eatables among themselves.
The enthusiasm in their heart and smile on their faces make me to give a nice smile heart melt to do something for upliftment of these kids. Seeing me taking pics, few of them get shyed and few them started smiling...later one of them started to make a dancing pose and asking me to take poc...though by that time my train started to move.

These kids are spoiling their life just to make some earning. I wish the government or any social agencies should work for providing a better life to these kids atleast make them to stand for the future.
They were looking very sober , may be due to negligence and not proper direction some may choose path of crime. These are the days when they get to know what is bad and good.
Anyhow I wish them a Happy Life for Future.

That’s a sad story. In a way it’s good if they’ve learn early to earn their livelihood but the only fear is that the hardship of life can throw them in the wrong path.
Sad side of INDIA.
This job is not Musketeers, but they done this job cause they want to earn some money. In this age important to they going to school and learn. Actually Cleanliness of Railway Stations must done by Railways employee, but they did not do their job.
It is sad for them to spoil their childhood working, instead of education that will serve them later in life. I keep these young ones in my prayers tonight, and thank you for bringing their story to us. 💙
