Indian College & Hostel - A Tour of education Hub.!!

Today, I will take you on to your college day. The most beautiful phase of one’s life, when everyone is free of all worry and woes, and concentrate only on studies for building a brighter future. India is an important educational hub for many people across the globe and there are many private and government institutions fully operational in all fields of studies. So why not take you all on college hostel trip.

As I was relaxing on Sunday morning, my friend called me up, as there is some urgency happen to his nephew in college hostel, and we need to reach there. Quick to the call, I got ready, to travel there, the college is 90 min drive from my place.

The college, which has speciality in all type Engineering studies, is spread in acres of land. Being Sunday, there was not much students rush, and we only allowed to visit the hostel block of the college. Hostel where students from far off places stay during their course curriculum, which lasts for minimum 4 years.

After the necessary security check at the entrance, we found a water fountain and beside these beautiful trees, which make the place quite greenery and cool. It was morning time, so the fountain was not functional, must be a good place during the evening time…. with water sparkling out of the fountain and dim lights with these trees must be a very special, personally I like this kind of back drops of water fountain and the trees with big leaf’s.

Well we moved towards the hostel block, I started to be lost in my college life, with each step forwards, each moment of college life was flashing in front of my eyes, although, it was not same college, but still, college environment is something that reminds you of many things.

On getting inside the hostel, I found this beautiful Blue Badminton court, in middle of the building compound. The Badminton court is for the students to play during off time. With green plants, covered the court from four sides, it makes me clique the beauty of the court.

On the Ground floor corridor, beside the badminton court, I noticed the fully functional multi-speciality Gym, with all machines and weigh. Good to see now a day, the college administration is focusing on student’s physical workout apart from the mental work. The Badminton court and now the Gym. The gym has vast open spaces and can accommodate, 25-30 students at a time.

The hostel compound is surrounded by 4 different building blocks from four sides. The 4th floor top view of the hostel is like the one shown below. With the student’s cloth hanging in the balcony and open airy window showing up from all sides of the building.

Each building has different corridor, with multiple rooms for the students on both sides. The below corridor image is from the one whom we were visiting. With dim light during day time, the picture is not clear, however each corridor has 7 rooms on each side making it 14 and each room can accompany 3 students.

Well behind the students’ hostel, the below sprawling playground waiting to be clicked. The ground is big, the cricket pitch is prepared at the centre whereas football nets were standing at both the ends.

Visiting, the college, reminded me of my past, and all the fun and enjoyment we did. Looking at all the upgraded arrangement, and facility, it is pretty sure, the college is concerned of the education as well all overall growth of the individual. The visit did refresh many of my old memory....feeling Young 👍
