Yay! That is awesome! It may seem like not such a big deal, but the first day is a big change, if not a tad painful to me. But, the benefits outweigh the negatives.

I fast every day for 16-20 hours. If I fast 16 hours, I eat two meals but they are specific carb/protein combinations. I frequently fast the 20 and eat only one meal. I do drink water in between. I have been doing this about a three weeks and will probably do a blog on it giving the pros and cons.

Glad to hear that you not only believe in fasting, but practice it too! Hopefully you would have also figured out how to make sure that you consume all the essential nutrients needed by the body regularly.

I get bloodwork done every 3 months to make sure there is a proper balance in my body and that all my numbers stay consistent or get better.
