Raise Your Vibration - Day 157 - Daily Haiku
Raise your vibration
to fully step into your
own inner power
Last night, on the way to and from Nashville, I was listening to Kyle Gray, whose audiobook "Raise Your Vibration" I had been given by Marek. Marek fell in love with this guy, and I love him too, not least of which for his voice and his accent, and his gentle humor.
What can I say? I've always been a sucker for a Scottish brogue. ;-)
And even though I'm only on Chapter 12, I can already recommend the book, as one that can help anyone to deepen their connection to the Divine. It has nothing to do with religion, and everything to do with opening ourselves up, letting go, and coming home into our true selves.
As Gray repeatedly points out, he's not saying anything new, and much of the wisdom he imparts has been around in various forms, and from various sages and holy leaders, for thousands of years.
Gray has a very engaging style, he's easy to listen to, and he has broken down the process into one hundred and eleven (111) simple steps. He has set them out with with the intention that you complete one step per day, spend sometime throughout the day contemplating it, and each step will build upon the step before.
Along those same lines, I watched a short video by James Van Praagh yesterday, and came across this short daily prayer, that he says three times in the morning, and three times at night:
"Healthy I am. Happy I am. Holy I am." I loved it, and it immediately resonated with me.
According to Van Praagh, if you say this morning and night for ninety days, your vibration cannot help but rise, and your life will transform as a direct result. Knowing what I do about mind-body programming, and daily spiritual practice, I have no doubt that he is correct.
Marek's immediate take was that he would add "wealthy," or "abundant," and certainly you could do so. I would also add "peaceful" and "forgiving."
The joy of spiritual practice is that it is as individual as we all are. Adjust and tweak it until it fully resonates with you.
Today, while talking to Marek, he started to tell me the prayer that he came up with for himself, which has been a work in progress for a while now. He said the first couple of lines, after which our connection became garbled, and I asked him to repeat it again. He did so, the words became garbled again, and the call dropped.
And isn't it interesting, when discussing things with great energetic power, how often electronic interference results?
We tried a couple more times, and I started writing down what he had said, along with my own interpretation of what I had not been able to make out. When I called him back again, and read it to him, he said that that was essentially what he had been saying, but using different words. Which is pretty much what I expected.
So this is my own take on his prayer, beginning with his words, but tailored for me, which anyone and everyone is welcome to use, and to tailor to your own needs as you see fit.
He's been working for a while with the idea of making friends with his ego, rather than pushing against it, which strikes me as a far better way to deal with it than that of most lightworkers I've seen.
I did endeavor to keep it short, as many of you how long and rambling my writing can get at times, but it felt right to me to keep this simple:
Hello God! Hello Universe! Hello Soul! Hello Body! Hello Ego!
Today let's work together to make our day happy, healthy, wealthy, peaceful, exciting, productive and fun! Let's create more and more abundance, and bless this world and all of its inhabitants with love, peace, forgiveness and compassion, for the highest and greatest good of all. And this is so.
;-)
Good night, everyone! Be blessed as you move forward in life.
I took the above photo a few nights ago, when one of our storms was letting up, and trying to decide if it wanted to continue storming or not. I thought the rays of sunshine piercing upward through the clouds were particularly beautiful.
