I am Super Pissed
So I am going to start today's day by saying it out loud.
I am so F______ Pissed off
It's been 4 Days already and we don't have Electricity.
Do you guys know what hurts even more than having no Electricity for 4 straight Days?
It's the fact that only our house is the one with no Electricity. All our neighbours have Electricity. That is even more Disturbing.
Currently we are getting by as we have a Generator but it makes a lot of noise. We might go deaf before the Electricity guys repair the line.
It's typical Indian problem anything that is under the Government seems to be neglected by their own officials.
I am an Indian but I am not afraid of speaking out the truth. The officials who are appointed on Governmental Duties such as Land department, Treasury Department, Forest Department,etc are all in a state of Tantrum. By the department I mean the people who work in these departments and certainly not all the people's.
Corruption is widely spread around the Country and there is no steps taken to fight or oppose this. India is a nice Country of you see it from the outside but things take another turn when you have to go to some Offices to get your job done.
Take myself as an example I am living 4 Days without Electricity I have called numerous times and even got one step ahead and identified the problem but they won't come and repair the damn Line.
Now the entire Country does not run by Electricity taken directly from the government, in some places the Electrical Department is maintained by a 3rd party where they buy electricity from the Government and then Deliver it to us at a slightly higher rate but the Service we get is top notch. This feature is on the process of engulfing the entire nation but sadly the place I stay is yet to fall under such scheme.
So today I have decided Screw with the officials I would go into their office with some of the other people's who are in similar situation as me and create a tantrum. As they understand only such language. They won't understand our problem unless we create problems for them.
I really don't like this idea but it has to be done we waited for 4 days that's more than enough time for them.

I would go totally nuts! Well, the generator does the trick at last but I surely must be annoying.
Going private with your electricity is fine as long as the states continues to offer the service. In Germany most public services have been privatized and that lead to low quality instead of top notch. We are talking post, bank, electricity, water and gas.
In Costa Rica on the other hand is the State the top competitor for internet for example. They deliver the best internet possible with fibre cable where no other provider has offered that. Before that the competitors where not lucky either because the Costa Ricans love their public providers and hate the idea of foreign companies - mostly US and Chinese - taking over the market.

It is possible and I know how to do it we have 3 phases of electricity in the locality among which one phase is having problems as the clamp that attaches the lines is cracked open.
All we have to do is change our lines to another phase but a risk remains as the workload on that phase will increase subsequently so that's why it's better that the main officials do it. Don't want to cause a major incident.
Yeah no joke without having mains shut off it could be easy mistake that could end life. Not to mention (not sure about where your at) where im at it would be illegal/tampering if halfway through we were caught/unable to finish. I really hope the best brother. Solar pannels can get on everyones roofs fast enough!!!
Governments are designed to fail. The only thing they are good for is extort taxes by means of corporal punishment if you resist
I am ok with taxes but right now we have to pay under the table to even get a Gas connection.
That's just absurd.

They were ready to go and attack their office on the 2nd day but I told them to wait as they deserve some time to get the repairs done plus the workers have a huge area to cover.
I was naive should have listened to them.😡
