Tennis For All Uganda is a charitable tennis organization in Uganda that is helping young people living in impoverished slum areas of kampala in learning the tennis sport and also equipping them with employable skills as way of improving and transforming their state of life.

Many young people living in slum areas of kampala are faced with very alarming life difficulties in their up-bringing. The slum areas where they live are very impoverished areas, congested with lots of poor people who have run away from the high cost of living in other places of kampala. When you visit this area, you find people smoking weed, drunkards, and gamblers.

Some of these children fail to continue with school due to financial constraints in their families. Others drop out of school due to early pregnancies.

The environment these kids live in is basically unfavorable for nurturing these kids into the great citizens they are meant to be. Many are ending up wasted due to lack of a solid foundation and an escape opportunity in their life. This puzzling situation prompted Vicent Muhereza together with Kyobe Julius who are some of the tennis coaches in Uganda to start up a charity tennis organization called “Tennis For All Uganda.”

Through Tennis for all charity initiative, these guys are selflessly doing an incredible job in making a difference in the lives of so many young people in Uganda.

Besides tennis they are also equipping young people with employable skills such as building and Construction, Tailoring and so on. This is a very smart strategy that is headed to the eradication of poverty and reduction on the unemployment levels in the country.

The organization is heavily relying on donations from both local and various generous people all over the world that have found it worth supporting. You know what? There is so much that is still needed to be done for these kids.

Due to the overwhelming numbers of kids that are in need of support, the organization is also in need of volunteers including tennis coaches, and development skills tutors to fully equip these kids with all that they need to become self-reliant people.
