The diary game : 24 June 2020 #1 : What happen today

in #the100daysofsteem4 years ago (edited)

Hello, everyone.

@cryptokannon had invited me to join #thediarygame adventure for a while. Now finally got my confident, I guess.

First, a bit intro. I have to mention, we, Asian, especially us, Malaysians living in East Peninsular and East Malaysia (Borneo), have a very different living 'status'.

I live with my baby, my mum (my baby grandma), my brothers and their wives (my SIL) in my mum's house. Yep, might be too many people but we have 3 bathroom so, we're kinda cool. I would say we're kinda lucky compare to others.

What happen today 24 June

Got up at 6.30. My baby did a good job at waking me up. As usual.

Mum took her from me this morning as I had to prepare to work. Usually I changed her diapers first then my mum would give her milk her while I did the Fajr prayer.

We had breakfast around 7. Mum went to the market with my brother. Took my baby with her. I got my batik ready and took my shower.

Baby was sleepy when she got home.

Sorry, baby, mummy got to go to work today. Be a good girl, OK? Mummy loves you.

Mum took care of my baby and my brother drove me to work. I have a license, he drove my car and that's the way it is for a while now. I actually kinda forgot how to drive now after 4 months not driving. Though he kinda get used to be my driver.

The meeting started at 9.30 and end a bit after 11. That was shorter than everyone expected. We thought it would end around 12. It was a great meeting. We haven't had a good one for a while. Though last time was on Feb. Hahaha.

We waited for our food to arrive. The food arrived a little after 12. So, we kinda just talking.

I like it when everyone was like keeping their distance with each other and not touching anyone but still having a good time socialising.

Got all my orders then I bought an extra. One of my friends didn't buy anything. She has many kids so I gave her one.

Another friend was sitting next to her. At first I was worried cause I didn't have enough to spare for him then God bless, I got another extra (to buy), so I gave him 1.

He thanked me. He told us that he worked part-time as a house builder with his brother to earn some money for his family. He looked quite tanned as he has work hard under the sun.

My cousin also worked at the same place as me. So, my brother came and pick us up. My mum and baby were in the car.

That's my batik. Sorry, already got them into the washing machine so I couldn't show you how beautiful it is.

My cousin, me & Anne.

We went to buy some lunch. Omg, everything looked so freaking delicious. Spent $25 on take out.

I gave some of my food that I order at work for my cousin to share with her family. I usually order for me and her if she didn't order anything.

I feel quite rich today as I could give to many people. I felt so happy. Feel happy tbh. Still am. Hahaha.

Pic from seller.

These are 'kuih koci' - glutinous rice cake. They were so freaking delicious. My mum offered some to my brother and my SIL when they got home and they also loved them.

Got my baby to sleep around 7 after performing Magrib's prayer.

Around 8 p.m, my brother told me he's going to eat the dessert I bought yesterday. I told him that I thought they gave everything to others already. You see, my mum loves to give. Whenever someone came for a visit, she would gave them something. Even some biscuits. She would feel guilty if she didn't.

And I don't really mind if she would give anything I bought to others. Just left a bit for me to have a little taste. Most of the time, I buy extras cause someone might come for a visit and I just love to share. Especially good food.

Oh.. I never really thought about it before. We're not that different. Hahaha.

Oh, the dessert were tasty too. Man, these people really can cook. I ate so many delicious food today.

Wonder what my husband ate. Every time I ate something delicious, I wish I can share with him. Though.. well.. we don't really share the same taste. But... he always ate whatever I cook for him! That's a husband's job, right?

Around 9, I went to see my mum then perform Isya prayer. Took my baby upstairs. We live in a double storey house. The downstairs are bricks house and upstairs are wooden.

I already sprayed aerosol before my prayer, else I can't sleep. There will be too many mosquitoes. I also had turn on the mosquitoes repellent.

Nowadays, I think I pray for my baby more than my husband. I feel a bit guilty.

Now it's nearly midnight in Malaysia. I'm sleepy. Tbh, I usually sleep before 10 p.m.

Hope you enjoy reading my writing. Take care!
