THE SHOPPING GAME; 21/7/2020 – FEW ITEMS FROM A SHOP IN MY NEIGHBOURHOOD

I’m here to share my little shopping today with you. Hope you are all doing fine. I came back home after a long day to discover there are some necessities that has gotten exhausted in the house. So I went to a local shop in our street to get it. The shop is located in number 2, Blue and white road, Okpulor, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Here’s what I got:
2 litres of Palm oil
1,500 Naira=$3.9 = 18.6 Steem
Oranges
50 Naira = $0.13 = 0.62 Steem
Malt drink
150 Naira = $0.39 = 1.86 Steem
Insecticide
650 Naira = $1.69 = 8.0 Steem
Body powder
500 Naira = $1.3 = 6.2 Steem
Total
In Naira = #2,850
In dollar = $7.4
In Steem = 35.3 Steem

@greatness96 I know that palm oil has multiple uses such as cooking (frying) and medicinal (vitamin A deficiency, cancer treatment, malaria treatment, anti-aging, high blood pressure control, etc). Is your palm oil for cooking or other use?

We basically don't use palm oil. Our doctors suggest us to avoid this one.
Right now , in our orange is not much available. Here, all the yellow colour orange are shown in winter. Recent year, some farmer has produces green colours oranges too.
The most wondering thing is the price of orange in your area is much cheaper than ours.
I think that baby powder is for your upcoming baby.

Thank you very much. We are going to start using the baby powder, as a way of celebrating our babies before they come.
The insecticide to control mosquitoes could be harmful to your upcoming baby. So I think you should get an alternative to this.
Palm oil supposed to be cheap, but per litre, it is almost $2 USD there. I feel it is a little expensive. Here palm oil cost is little below $1, in spite of the fact that we import it from other countries. However, I always do away from palm oil.
With that baby powder, in-display I can sense the spell of fatherhood for your upcoming baby.
Here orange season is already over. During that season time, I used to get 1 KG of orange at a price of $0.25.
