The Altai republic

Have you ever heard about the Altai republic? It’s the part of the Russian Federation, one of the most beautiful places in this country. In fact, it’s the South Siberia with great mountains, rapid rivers,green cedars and meadows. I don’t want to tell you about geographic information. As I think, it’s very boring. I’ll try to describe wonderful energy and force of this incredible place.
We visit the Altai republic every year for getting a special energy which will maintain us all year. The indigenous population calls their land as the khan Altai. And that’s right. Some people say the Altai is the umbilical code of the Earth and some explorers consider that there is the Gate to Shambala. They are sure the enter into this mystical country are situated in the depth of the Teletsky lake.
The Teletsky lake is the pearl of the Khan Altai (original name is the Altin Kyol that can be translated as the Golden lake). It’s area is about 223 cubic km, the maximum depth of 335 m, length about 80 km. This lake was included into the list of the 15 deepest lakes in the word. The Teletsky lake is very cold. An everage temperature of the water is nearly 17 degrees above zero (the south part). This wonderful lake was the place where the shamans conducted their rituals. And when we visited the lake first time (it was 10 years ago) we saw shamans’ gate at the left bank of the lake. It was a very big construction with silver roof. But when we visited this lake next year we didn’t see them. People said the Altai State museum took away took away this gate and they don’t know about their destiny.
If you visit the Teletsky lake you should make a trip by speedboat around the lake and visit the Corboo waterfall or you can rich it by the Altai’s pioneer. The Altai’s pioneer is the comfortable ship.The Altai’s pioneer carried out cruises on the Teletsky lake since 1968, and became one of the symbols the Teletsky lake. I recommend you this trip.
