Happy Sunday!
Welcome to this week's Curation Digest
@the-hearth!

Spring is springing where we are! We'll still meet @the-hearth, but we wont make the fire quite so hot to account for the warmer days ;)

This is our 4th week curating!

We're happy to share that we have 89 Steemians following @the-hearth! This is great because we're a curation account that seeks to boost earth-based wisdom and practical knowledge on Steemit & we resteem your posts. We want to them to reach more people!

Ideally, we'd love to reach a lot of people who are not themselves master gardeners or homesteaders, etc to be able to educate and share knowledge and thoughts with people who may be new to them! So please resteem this post!

Each day of the week we focus on finding original, top-quality earth-centered posts that we resteem throughout the week.

Our goal is to boost you & share the good news!

This week we have a gorgeous array of posts!

Let's start off with @canadianrenegade's awesome post, Our Homesteading Vision: This Years Earthworks Plan.

In this post, they walk through the sexy process of planning earthworks. This is a necessary component of being in relationship with land whether you have a backyard or large tract of land, as they do. Check out their post for more details!!

Next up we have @cahlen's fantastically detailed post, Earning a Living as a Nomad with Steem wherein he shares text & a video of how he's making a living with Steem on the road!

I'm sure this is a dream of many people and he lays out some incredible suggestions, plus his inspiration is contagious!! Follow him for more innovative posts!

Next up is a post by @birdsinparadise, Nut Milk | When I realized you are what you eat, I realized I was nuts!.

In this post she explains how to make your own almond milk! How cool is that? Not only, empowering, but very good for your health too as the homemade version doesn't include all the preservatives! She makes it look easy :D

Next up we have an incredibly interesting and useful post by @fernowl13 wherein she talks about the Carolina Gernanium as an edible and medicinal wild food.

We've seen this plant around, but were never sure of its ID, let alone the fact that it is an edible and medicinal plant! Read more to learn all about this very interesting and useful plant.

Next we are curating @muklis' post, Assemble Your Own 1000 Watt Electric Power Generator - Alternative Electrical Energy.

This is really informative and post and impressive project! This type of empowerment is such important work in making alternative energy accessible to more people. This takes DIY to a whole new level so please check it out!

Last, but certainly not least, @ligayagardener shares a wonderful post about the plant Solanum nigrum that we often assume is a weed.

So often we see things we have collectively decided are weeds and they're off limits for our diet from there on out. In this post, he explains the healthy way to eat Blackberry Nightshade (only eat the black berries, not the green!) and how to prepare it. The greens are eaten around the world and this is a weed that's in many of our yards and homesteads.

Thank you for reading through these posts! Please go to these posts and upvote them and follow their authors for more great content!
