Steem is a Goat
A few years ago, I made some donations on behalf of others as Christmas Gifts. For a couple of family members, I donated money to provide medical supplies in clinics. For others, I donated money for schoolbooks. I donated chickens on behalf of a co-worker’s (who lives in India) children. I donated beehives on behalf of my son (who decided to grow his bees a couple of years later). I donated goats. Someplace in Africa, I imagine families with herds of goats: the offspring of my donations. The recipient receives not only Steem Dollars but also Steem Power when upvoted on Steem. The Steem Power means that when they vote for someone else, that person will also earn incrementally.
When I donated goats, they reproduced, allowing the families to increase their milk production and achieve even more income and food. Steem is just the same.
