Tesla Life Volume 2: A Narrow Escape From An Accident

in #tesla5 years ago (edited)

A very interesting yet annoying part of having a Tesla is the unwanted attention. Don’t get me wrong, I’m flattered when someone has a compliment or a question about my car.

As well as the positive attention I’ve also had a very negative experience with a driver earlier today. This story has nothing specific about Tesla except that it happened to me in my Tesla. A car tried to pass me in a turning lane. He went into the turning lane but sped up and cut me off. Fortunately I was able to brake in time to not get hit.

I honked loudly, as is expected after a close call by a bad driver. He then stopped the car in the middle of the toad. It was a one lane road and wouldn’t move. Obviously I honked more and this caused him to give me the middle finger. I was considering getting out of the car to confront him but I knew that the odds of a good outcome from that were slim. Finally after a few seconds(which felt like minutes) he sped off.

Those type of encounters are part of life on the road. Keeping a cool head is key to not losing control. Happy driving friends.
