Jumping at the Taj Mahal [The Explorer's Photo Challenge, Round 7 ]
This is my entry in @theexplorer's “Travelling Moments” photo challenge.
The minute we arrived at this Wonder of the World, we started snapping photos, just like everyone else. We walked around the Taj, through the Taj, and across the grounds, snapping photos from various points of view and various angles.
Jump into the clouds
After we’d seen it all and taken too many photos, we returned to the front, near the long reflecting pool. We sat down on some clean, cool marble slabs, and relaxed. After a few moments, my friend told me to stand up, and then jump.
She thought it might make an interesting photo. I was not so sure it would. But, on her first snapshot, she got this decent photo – with both me and the Taj framed in the billowing clouds.
All in all, not a bad "Travelling Moment" – frozen in time and frozen in space.

Glad you like it. I'm not very photogenic, so any "typical portrait pose" of myself would not get very many upvotes on Steemit. ☺
Thanks for your diligent work on this contest. And I understand about how tough it might be to get the ball rolling much bigger and faster. Keep up the work, and eventually, the rewards will come.
(As for any prizes, that's not even a concern of mine. I'm grateful that your contest (and @juliank's) give me the opportunity / channel to post my photos. It's a very effective way of attracting more followers, and that is my secondary goal on this platform. The first is to create quality content that will be on the blockchain forever, and which people will find interesting and useful.)

awesome photo I like that you have you water bottle in your hand while jumping:). This is a place i would love to go one day apparently it is breathtaking.
In the heat of India, there are not many places you go without a bottle of cool water. Including 2 feet in the air!!

I was just wondering if I look like the fat, middle-age man that I actually am, or if jumping makes me look strong and youthful.

Yes, it's always interesting when the hermits on Steemit finally reveal their faces.
As for discord, I've never used it. I've tried, but found it very confusing. However, I've been contacted on Steemit chat, and I chat with others on that channel sometimes. (But I'm not a big fan of chatting.)
Hahaha your bluntness regarding discord is marvelling. I find it confusing as well. I will look you up on Steemit chat and see what happens when you are in the chatting mood.

Ya, usually these types of action photos do not turn out well at all. Surprisingly, this one turned out very well.
