This is gripping from the very start, the descriptions of dealing with grief, the numb feeling, very well told. The cut to the second perspective of a wife sends the possibilities scattering, and makes the interaction between to two women all the more heartfelt. The fact that this is from the perspective of the person who dies and wakes up is a really nice touch, and the questions of his appearance bring the rest of it in. Very nicely done!
