Quake Champions (Beta) Gaming on GTX 1060
Hi all, I got access to the Quake Champions Beta and wanted to share some gameplay with you! I am using a GTX 1060 and an i5-2400 which results in an average 90-100FPS.
I really enjoy the game because it has elements of old and new skins/weapons. In addition, the movement is fast and the control is smooth. It is shaping up to be a fun game and it will also be available on Steam so that means it will be even more widespread!
Can't wait to see what else unfolds with the game.
Love the quake series, the sounds, the guns, ahh such nostalgia. This will be a must-buy for me, thanks for sharing some footage of the beta, they look to be keeping true to their roots!
Watched your video after smoking some blue cheese and could not stop laughing at how funny it looks when your running around with that rocket launcher.
It´s so centered it looks kind of like you are a weird metal snake or something slithering around spitting fireballs.(I have bad humor when high, give me a break)

Wish I could play Champions but unfortunately my laptop is so bad that I experience FPS drops even when I play Quake Live :(
I actually tried to install it just to see if it can even start on lowers settings, but I laughed my ass off when I opened Bethesda launcher and saw featured games and it said my laptop can't even run Fallout Shelter and that's a mobile game haahahha.
Sorry to hear! Would you be interested in building a desktop PC? ~$350??
I'm planning to get a PC but more expensive one with a decent GPU, SSD and 120HZ monitor.
ah ok, well there is always the budget option. Plus with the crazy prices of GPU's might want to wait until the mining craze dies down for a mid-level card.
Another option would be cloud gaming if you have good internet.
