AI (Artificial Intelligence) & Audio - Amazing "Sci-Fi" Tools Now Reality
AI (Artificial Intelligence) is being used with audio to give significant business advantages to many. I’m blown away at what is being done now to analyze not just the words, but inflections, intonations, NLP features and more.
I recently had the opportunity to interview the President of Veritone, a company that works with media & entertainment, legal, and law enforcement communities. He shared some mind-blowing concepts that are being used now to give serious business advantages.
One example he told me about is what Veritone is doing with one of their clients, CNBC, the news channel. They are analyzing every second of what their on-screen talent is doing and saying and tracking voice patterns, word usage, intonation, facial expressions, object placement and more. Then they allow the genius of AI to calculate what is working as it is tracked against real-time ratings. They can do this for their on-screen talent as well as the competition to find out what is working and what is not.
This sounds a lot like science fiction, but it is reality today. Those who know it and embrace its advantages will profit from it. Those who ignore what this technology can do will suffer. Take a few moments and watch this interview to acquaint yourself with what is happening and how it will affect our world.

Steemit - @terrybrock
I think Artificial Intelligence will have a heavy role in shaping our future, and let's face it: it is here and is not going away. What we do with it and how we teach AI to interact with us on every level is entirely up to us at this point.
When AI reaches the "singularity", whenever that happens, who knows what that will be like? At that point the AI dog will be "off the chain", so to speak.
Awesome work as always @terrybrock, we appreciate it!
Thank you, @scottrogers63. I agree with you that AI is here to stay. It is already a part of our lives and we need to know more about it. Trying to avoid it won't work.
I appreciate your comment and thank you for coming over to visit.
this is really amazing .. if there are some of them who have achieved success in steemit will do good like this .. really his followers are still low level will be very eager to make a post ..! extraordinary...
Thank you, @abreck99. Glad you enjoyed it. They are doing some amazing things with that technology, like Ryan said in the video. Thank you for your comment.
The way these big tech companies are brainwashing us with AI is scary. I don;t think it;s cool at all I think it;s an ultimate invasion of privacy when these companies can develop technologies to collect data about us that we couldn;t collect on our own, then keep that data secret from us while using it to manipulate us. Steemit feels like a place where I can think for myself again instead of having algorithms try to think for me, at least for now...
I hear you. I love many aspects of Steemit and the fact that we can control what we put out is one of the best. It is also very important to keep up on the technology of what is out there to know what can be done and is being done. What did you think of what Ryan said about media use of AI and audio? I'd be interested in your thoughts on that. Thank you for stopping by.
I tried to listen to this but I just get angry when I hear AI proponents acting like it's going to make life better for people. Look what AI did to facebook... I think these sound algorithms will be used to censor and shadow ban content and manipulate people psychologically. The people who own these technologies are NOT going to use them for anything good
I am with you on the monitoring. I like the idea of having solid feedback on how my videos and other tools are doing. Finding out what viewers are liking and not liking is really valuable. Also would be good to know what works with others. This is going to be very valuable for content feedback.
Realize that it is happening. You can't stop it. You can ignore it, but that won't stop it. We have to know what it can do and then show that, like I said at the end we have to deal with it. His answer was interesting.
Remember, Patton studied Rommel. We have to know what the others are saying and doing. If Patton had refused to read Rommel and refused intelligence about him, it would have been a sad situation. Study. Learn. Adapt. This is the way it has been throughout history.
