The Internet is said to show our common humanity. Through its data, it is said to provide a kind of omniscience, and through its social networks, a deeper sense of connection. For those without access, it holds the promise of a better life. For those of us who use it a lot, its power to affect our lives is clear — but what is the nature of that effect? How does it change our behavior? The way we see others? The way we see ourselves?

This is a social experiment mostly rather than just another site... You will experience a lot of feelings and that is its goal, confusion might be one of them, is it worth it though?
Yes it does
It is of those things in life you need to experience and whatever I might reveal it will be a spoiler, after all you will only have 8 minutes available to test the site out daily,as a means to avoid frustration (yeah you might get that) But since I cannot spoil it for you I would like to suggest you a couple of things, first go fullscreen and if possible use headphones as they have done some magnificent acoustic works.
For me this is the closest science technology and arts can be mixed to present something out of the ordinary. Everyone will be affected in deferent ways, that's the magic in it.

It made me feel like I was under a lot of pressure, I guess because of the time limit thing and a feeling of rushing to figure it out before the clock wound down.
that is the first experience I got with it the sound of the heartbeat really pushes you there. I am glad you taste it out. And thankful you took the time to return with a reply.

At the beginning I have the same feeling as @onceuponatime but I was just hearing and looking, then discover the clics and start to clic some tags... after 5 minutes got burn and have to close the window.... Was a very strange feeling.
its not a site that aims at keeping its visitors. That feel of not having the control can be really overwhelming!
It is indeed! :) Also they give you kind of a timer depending of what part of the world you are... On my screen at least I could not see the clock and that makes you more nervous. One wants to see how much time is left and if you can not... ;)
But it is very interesting. As a film editor I find it curious to see how the sounds, images and the way are mixed affect my emotional behavior. Thanks a lot for sharing :)
