When my wife told me at a school meeting half a year ago ‘Hey Richman Darling, I want these watches with Mickey Mouse for my birthday,’ (looking at some lady’s wrist) I had nothing left, but to search for the watches with Mickey. ‘Whatever. She wants watches with Mickey Mouse for her birthday, then let it be, some $20 for quartz watches, isn’t a big deal,’ I thought. Although later on I’ve been surprised to know that these watches meant to be Apple Watch (not those fancy watches with Mickey for kids), which I always considered way too overpriced (about $400 that time, currently $299 from Apple store) even to consider buying (on the contrary to Apple TV - $100, some convenient thing.) What would you do? Ha, I bet you would do the same–buy her this new gadget. Needless to say, my wife had iPhone 6 already for over a year (Apple Watch conveniently usable with Apple iPhone, though it’s a separate device), so in the end it turned out to be pretty much handy. So, after half a year of active usage (I was helping all the time to examine the Apple Watch since I’m a fan of all those gadgets) I think that with priceless help of my wife I’m able to tell you my qualified opinion of Apple Watch (42mm Gold Aluminum Case was the choice). This is my first review (I’ve tried to do it like a pro) of this sort, so don’t judge me too harshly ;-)

What’s the difference between Series 1 and Series 2?

Apple Watch Series 1 has all the features of the original Apple Watch, as well as a new dual-core processor for faster performance. It is splash resistant, meaning you can wear it during exercise and while washing your hands, but submerging it is not recommended.
Apple Watch Series 2 has all the features of Apple Watch Series 1, as well as some additional ones: It is rated water resistance to 50 meters, so you can safely swim with it.
