Your less secure than you think you are

This PDF guide from the darknet has now been posted on the clearnet and is the primary place to learn interesting facts about the Tor network, the largest deployed anonymity network to date.

If something can be measured safely, you'll find it here.

Browse safely.

For dummies: The clearnet = the everyday internet :)

Since the incident that occured back in 2013 when they took down tor network i don't trust anything related to it or deep dark ...etc.

Navigation is now extremely tricky like you say ;)

Excellent. I will share with all friends. :)

You can also use Tor to watch BBC Iplayer outside of the UK. Performance may suffer, though.

You certainly can ... but it's a strain like you say! Coming next ... my favourite darknet search engines ;) I've gone all dark today :))

Great post
I currently use Tails, which is a build from Debain
I am posting a blog about it now, with a link
https://steemit.com/technology/@ghostwriter82/tails-privacy-live-operating-system

Fire it over when your done, and I'll take a looko ;)

Here is the link

It also has the Electrum Wallet built in
Supposedly Edward Snowden used Tails in his hacking days

Tor was founded by the DOD (Department of War) and receives it's founding largely from the DOD still, the only reason Tor has been release to the public is to secure it by making the traffic now 100% Gov.
There's alternatives

Thanks for protecting me @baah :) I'm mostly on there for reading purposes only, as the amount of documentation on there is staggering - particularly government documents! No ounce of coke at 1.28 BTC or hacked porn accounts for this @mindhunter ;)

Privacy is a must, the whole snowden debacle was in my belief only a successfully orchestrated false flag seeking to compromise the lavabit service, it provided encrypted email and if I rememeber correctly there wasn't even a way to recover passwords, which supposedly snowden was using. Since then I have pretty much stopped my keyboard warrior on facebook and would have gave up on sharing information about the numerous events that TPTB constantly scrub in efforts of sweeping their deeds under the rug, until I happened across here :D.
Seems there's new developments with lavabit!
https://lavabit.com/

Lavabit look exciting, but the one used by most hardcore criminals on the darknet is: https://antidetect.org

In this article they offer much more viable alternatives:http://www.esecurityplanet.com/open-source-security/the-trouble-with-tor.html , never stop learning, never stop reading because without that we rely on borrowed, 2nd hand conclusions. Keep up the good work as always!

The seizure of Silk Road and all their Bitcoins really made me lose faith in Tor!

Thank You. This is helpful. I am just learning the world outside of Microsoft OS. Just started learning to install Virtual Box. My head is spinning but I am beyond curious and eager to learn. Be well!

Virtual box - that is tricky territory @jacobts ;) Best of luck! :)
