Building a cheap gaming machine with the AMD Ryzen APU
These days, not only decent graphics cards are hard to find but their also pretty expensive. So, here comes AMD to the rescue. AMD brings us the Ryzen 3 2200G with Radeon Vega 8 graphics and the Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon RX Vega 11 graphics.
APUs have the CPU and GPU all in one chip. That makes them the ideal solution to assemble a budget machine, for gaming for example (medium detail and resolution), that later can even be upgraded with a GPU when prices come down, if you wish.
When I was on YouTube I saw this video that really caught my attention about this subject and I'll leave it below. The guy spent a little less then 470 USD, but a similar machine can be built for even less if you use more standard components. Anyway, here's the list of parts the guy used, from Amazon:
