Some better news from a regulatory perspective

in #technology7 years ago (edited)

After my post about crypto regulation last week it was great to read some good news from a regulatory perspective and this in the USA :)

I love the opening statement where they propose to protect digital currencies from interference from governments :)

The basic features of the bill

According to the article the key focus of the bill will be to:

  • They are proposing some specific minimum requirements to adhere to in order to be compliant
  • Assist with making some crypto currencies to be accepted as official form of payment in addition to the dollar.
  • More importantly the they propose to protect digital currencies from interference from governments :)

It really is an interesting read. You can read the full article, US Lawmakers Draft Bill Protecting Cryptocurrencies from Gov Interference here

Nice post..loved your post...

cool one! what do you think will happen with the Asian market after those rules?

informative post!!

Great post. Thank you for sharing this interesting information

It seems regulators just HAVE to find a way they can accept/cooperate with cryptocurrencies. They can't outright "ban" them either - no ways of really stopping it.
Just god to see that regulators are actually looking into crypto :) Really good news in the long run...

Thanks for letting us know.
