Military Mind Control

There has been a very drastic difference in the military helmets. History of Military Helmets?  The helmets used in World War I were also know as Doughboy that were primarily designed to protect the head of infantrymen. In 1941, during World War II, the helmet’s material was changed which is also known as Steel Pot. By the end of 1980s, the Military helmet greatly evolved and made of multiple layers of kevlar.  

Future Helmets

Our world is advancing really fast and with time it will continue to do the same and with much faster pace. There is a possibility that future helmets for Military may contain more than just protection from shrapnel. A researcher from Arizona State University working under DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) is working on a prototype helmet that can be used to regulate the soldier’s brain. The technology behind this is very simple also known as TPU (Transcranial Pulsed Ultrasound) which basically act as a high frequency sound wave emitter focussed on specific parts of the brain.  

How could that be helpful?

It has its great uses on battle grounds. A soldier wearing this helmet will have a controller that he can used to simulate different areas of brain by sending high frequency Sound waves. There may be a case when a soldier need to remain alerted even when he/she is completely tired then this helmet could come in and provide the necessary power to brain to make it work as intended. On battlefield, a lot of soldiers get injured and need some medical attention to lower down the pain (e.g. Using morphine or other narcotics ) instead of using the conventional method to get relieve from pain, soldiers can use this helmet to relieve them from pain and let them accomplish their mission. Well, this is only military and think about the possibilities if some other sorts of gadgets could do the same. The possibilities are limitless.
