Swiss Rail Set To Sell Bitcoin At Ticket Machines

Switzerland's national railway firm SBB is going to be introducing btc at its ticket machines. Starting on November 11th of this year, people are going to be able to line-up at the machines and trade Swiss francs for bitcoins by making an exchange with the machine. It's going to be a part of a two-year experiment that is seeking to further discover the popularity of the cryptocurrency in the region, and to see whether or not people will be eager to use it more.

There are over 1,000 ticket machines and that really opens up the market for people to find more opportunity to purchase btc with ease. To get the initiative off the ground, SBB is working along with digital payment firm SweePay in order to enable customers to buy the btc and load it to their digital wallet by using their mobile phone.

SBB is set to act as the distributor in the exchange and clients can expect to be able to take out anywhere from $20 - $503 Swiss francs with every single transaction that they make. The exchange itself is going to be performed by SweePay and of course those looking to make an exchange are going to need to have an account with a wallet service so that they can store their currency properly.

Bitcoin has continued to dominate the cryptocurrency space and has progressed so far to the point that not only can people use it now to purchase things like plane tickets, book hotel rooms, or buy food, but it is also now being accepted as a donation method to the United Nations and there are even political parties accepting donations in btc.
