Steps need to be taken toward decentralized and FOSS software in order to have a stable, reliable, and secure future for the internet. With centralized systems, they are as secure as their weakest link and when the code is hidden away; exploits and victims become a possibility. It is time for a new Patreon where transactions and data are on a secure blockchain.
