@ klye I am a little scared as I actually understand part of what you wrote. What are the advantages/disadvantages of building a workstation v. a desktop?
A large advantage this new computer has over my old one is multi-monitor capability as well as enough power to run any application I could possibly throw at it. Admittedly my laptop is alright for development purposes but it's design makes it run hot.. And any heavy multitasking often creates situations where the hardware inside is overheated causing premature failure.
With the 7 fans in a push / pull configuration it's impossible for me to get my CPU over 50 Celsius even under 100% load on all cores.. No more fear of melting things down with to much on the go.
