Then they go to churches to give thanks - not thanks to God but thanks to us for believing their lies and the things we've not yet done. They thank us so that we can sell our conscience in return, but even when we don't they still get what they want.
You are absolutely right. They know how to manoeuvre their ways and take us for a ride. It's painful.
