RE: MEET @CEEPEE A NIGERIAN FEMALE PILOT : BRAIN AND BEAUTY

in #teardrops6 years ago

Thank you for the encouragement @inspiredgideon1. I know @ceepee personally and I also think she embodies a lot far beyond just her physical appearance.
However, i disagree with how you made your point, a woman may decide to use 'plenty makeup' and still match up any other human in a boardroom. It is her choice to make.
Alluding to the fact that a woman that is into her outward appearance generally referred to as slay queens, is an empty head is a wide and wild generalization.
You could also have made your point without saying 'no man will want to marry a woman that has nothing to offer'. I stand corrected but I think a woman's need to be more valuable shouldn't only be because of the need to attract a man into her life. She can be better for herself.
I do get the point you are trying to make all in all, I just thought that I had to point out what I noticed.
Thank you again for sharing.

Thanks sis. You are just one awesome definition of beauty and brain, being that I know you personally. Yes I do agree with you, wearing make up does not take the brain away, as a matter of fact, looking good is good business. If you really wanna get to show of your brains, the physical appearance is the first point of attraction in most cases. Judging by the fact that beauty always attract.
I guess, @inspiredgideon1, has seen so many ladies out there who flaunt body asset as all they got,(quite true and so many). And they happened to nickname them slay queen.
Someone once use that phrase 'slay queen' on me and I kinna found that offensive. Maybe is the way is been used around.
Thanks for stopping here sis. Good to see you around.

Thank you @ceepee for bailing me out. You just expressed my thought.
I see so many indecent ladies on campus and out carrying big phones around and hanging around guys, that's why I made mention of that slay queen.
@fissyfays am sorry if that statement annoyed you. It was never intended so.

@inspiredgideon1, haba! I was not annoyed. It is just that the society is quick changing especially in the gender space, so there can be misinterpretations on perceived generalizations. Chimamanda had to do a lot of damage control recenlty based on her views. We are all learning. And thank you again for acknowledging the place of someone like @ceepee

Thanks for understanding me as well.
