My 50 for 50 steemit challenge.
As one of my 2018 goals, I promised I would do my upmost to bring the benefit of steemit to the masses and members already signed up. So as part of that promise I'm going to attempt to sign up 50 new steemians in the remaining 50 weeks of this year
Im hoping to recruit a lot of friends through Facebook and I'm looking forward to getting more work colleagues signed up. I'm not counting @huw28582 although I did manage to convince him.
I have also been contacted by @pennsif and have been invited to join the newly formed Wales discord channel. If there are any fellow Welshies out there please get in contact and I can hook you up #teamwales (yes, this is now a thing)
I know with you guys supporting my efforts and helping me help the newbies, getting people to sign up and more importantly getting them to stay active should be much easier.
Wish me luck on my new adventure. How hard can it be?? Do I even know ow 50 people!!

Great idea. The more people we get using this platform. The more money we all can make. Keep it up
I love money as much as the next person, I'm just hoping to keep steemit a viable option. I've had a titful of Facebook, Instagram and other social media rubbish, I much prefer it here. The money helps (a lot) but the freedom from advertising and trolls is an even better, I my opinion

I have gotten three people to sign up so far this year. I have similar goals, although not quite as aggressive. I have three more that I am wearing down. No way I will get fifty. But maybe a dozen or so.
I'm reaching for the stars and will be happy for my living room ceiling. Hoping for 50 will take 5 😀
This is a brilliant goal @welshstacker! I think this year I will concentrate on growing, but I reckon I could get 12 people I know on by the end of the year. Good luck!

I'm doing my best. Only one Welshie so far seems interested, a lot of people are sceptical. When I say to them, 'what do you have to lose, you only have to repost your content on one more platform, other platforms are already taking value from your content' I see the cogs start turning, an internal battle. It's hard.
I have one German friend and one Cornish friend awaiting approval as we speak.
50 people in 50 weeks might be a stretch for me, but I'll be doing my best to get people to get over the cognitive dissonance that hearing about the steem concept creates!
