Henry - The man behind the 'bar'

I was intrigued by this guy’s determination to impress me with his ‘Tarik-king’ skill, Henry who did his ‘Nescafe Tarik’ right before my eyes!
Seeing me sitting alone having no one to talk to, he broke the ice by asking me what drink I want.
Humbly came to my seat and introduced himself, insisted asking me to try out some of the drinks.
It’s on the house, dia bilang! 
He said his ‘Tarik’ drink is one of his signature! Apa lagi, I straight away said YES!
I asked for Nescafe Tarik!
Oohhh wowwww… that was sooo deliciously good and refreshing one! Thanks Henry for killing my time (while waiting for my next event in Promenade Hotel, KK)
Henry Daimi, in his 30s, a Barman at the Lobby Lounge (Promenade) currently holding the post as Assistant Manager, is one dynamic guy (I must say), because he won’t let me sit alone without ‘pestering’ me with questions as though he was the reporter and I was the subject! But I kinda enjoyed that moment actually..hahaha
While making the drink, he was so willingly shared his work experience to me.
Asked him why he wanted to tell me about his background and stuff like that, he said, he just saw the name card that I passed to his other colleague earlier on and the name 'Daily Express' caught his attention!, hahahahaha (pandai lah kau Henry!)
Coming from a small village, Kg. Tomis Jaya, Pekan Nabalu, Tamparuli, Henry first came to KK looking for job and ended up working in Hyatt hotel in the early years. Having some years of experience in hospitality industry made him a confident person. He then moved on looking for greener pasture. After Hyatt, he landed himself at Promenade hotel and stayed on for 13 years, till today.
He specialises in making all sorts of beverages, cocktail, mocktail, whatever tails….   
With his apt experience and knowledge in beverage making over the years, he earned himself some awards. In 2010 and 2011 he won Silver award consecutively from the Sabah Hospitality Fiesta. In 2014 he won one of the highest awards -, Gold Medal (with highest point) defeating participants from Sabah, Labuan and Sarawak.
