First withdrawal in Malaysia after 1 month of Steeming
First of all, let me clarify the amount of excitement I've got. Ever since I started blogging on Steemit in 2017 November 29, until yesterday I haven't even think about whether I wanna sell my Steem and cash out. Until, many friends whom I brought in to blog in Steemit started asking whether the deal is real. They saw their account value in $, but they are eager to try to cash out even a small portion just to prove a point crypto has a FIAT value. And since I saw my account value has grown up to more than $1k, I decided to make a small withdrawal and put this up as an article to share with my friends.
First of all, get an account in Remitano. Deeply appreciate if you use my referral link so I stand a chance to earn an introduction fee.
https://remitano.com/my?ref=davidke20
First of all, go to the webpage
Hit the drop down list
Key in email address
An email will be sent to your earlier registered email address
Use the link provided by the email to access Remitano
Create your user name and follow instruction from screen. Apologize I didn't have all the screenshots here as I got way too excited
I'm not sure what step was I up to before I need to get to next step, but this is the screen I saw before I was requested to verify my account with AUTHY
You're required to install AUTHY for 2 steps verification.
Google Play download it, sorry I don't have any iSeries device so I weren't able to teach you the other one.
And AUTHY required to use phone number to verify
Go back to Remitano page, copy the code
Dump the copied code back into AUTHY
Create an account name for AUTHY
Use the code provided by AUTHY, and activate the account
Go back to Remitano account, select ETH, and then select ETH WALLET
At ETH WALLET, select DEPOSIT. Copy the deposit address
Now go back to your wallet, select either BUY/SELL from Steem/SBD, you'll be able to get to BLOCKTRADE
Set from which crypto and how much you need to convert to ethereum? In my case, I'm sending my Steem out. You can choose SBD, entirely up to you
Now, scroll down paste the deposit address from Remitano. Hit the Get Deposit Address button
Here we have a transaction Deposit Address created to link between Blocktrades and Remitano. Remember, don't screw this up, or the crypto goes else where, nobody will be able to help you. Just like if you lost your Steemit password.
Do the transfer, but the beneficiary put as blocktrades. Paste the Deposit Address at the memo column
Usually, transaction done within a minute, but that few seconds its like I waited few years!
Remitano will email you every single transaction notification
I missed 1 of the screen when I pick buyer to buy my Ethereum. But it's easy enough to just scroll down, scout for 1 that will take the amount I'm ready to sell and hit him/her.
Anyway, from there on I have no more further screenshot and instruction for you as the deal will only last 2 minutes. I was too busy running up and down, dealing with the buyer, exchanging information and ofcourse a lot of sensitive information that I wouldn't like to put up here as if I blanco the screenshot would have cover the whole screen. But the result was... fantastic!
Originally, I was going to sell 5 Steem only, but after it got converted to ETH, it seems too small, hence I have no choice but to use my Deposit Address to send in another 10 Steem to make up the figure. Later, I managed to find another buyer who willing to buy at, quite surprisingly even higher price than the previous buyer agreed for my 5 Steem worth of ETH. And now I sold them bulk to another buyer with higher selling price.
Specially thank to my wife who took good care of me and guide me through the entire withdrawal process. Share with @francesaw & @davidke20 on your withdrawal excitement and who knows your post will make a big hit?

Well done 😁
Keep up your good work!
Thanks boss. Ayam trying to keep all the screenshot, but towards the final bits where the real conversion between ETH vs Fiat I got kelam kabut liao 😫
haha. Find someone in the group that wanna buy steem or sbd better 😄
Thanks please for the steps to withdraw money some new members do not know how to make it and this can help them
Thanks for commenting. But I'm not sure whether this applicable worldwide as the Remitano I'm using clearly stated it's for Malaysia. Let's hope this can help many more Steemians in case if they wanted to withdraw some of their reward
Upvoted! Thanks for Bro always support me !
make another 10.000 Steem !
Some upvotes a day, keep the curators stay! #teammalaysia rocks.
The itch of seeing so many post teaching how to withdrawal but got nth to withdraw. Must continue contribute quality stuff!
Set a target for yourself. Try your best to power up for now and forget about withdrawal before you hit your targeted account value. Don't try to keep SBD unless you know how to trade. Once you attained your account value, then only wait for fresh SBD rewards and withdraw from there. Set yourself free from binding with FIAT. If not, this weekend burger would worth 120RM, you'll feel buttache all the time. Just like the fella who think he's smart when he withdrew his BTC at 27$ 🤣
Terbaik bro. Keep it up 👍👍
Thor baik. I x baik. I feel buttache taking out crypts for a meal.
@davidke20 First withdrawal is the most unforgettable moment for sure bro. Congratz and may more withdrawals come to you in near future.
PS: It's such a good and detailed tutorial. Maybe, next time you can create a tutorial on how to transfer your SBD into ETH by using luno.
No intention to use Luno. May be u can check @bitrocker2020 post earlier. Good luck. I heard luno had freezes all transaction.
Okay, tyvm bro. I will check it out :)
A post that helps me just in time, and i am very sure many of us on the ecosystem. Thank you, #upvoted, #resteemed
Keep some liquid steem as reinvestment. Good luck on your 6 days posts
