Cryptos and what it can get us
Isn't technology suppose to solve this ?
The Malaysian govt spends close to RM20 billion A YEAR ( 5 Bilion USD ) on our Ministry of Education. Yet at the start of the year, we as parents are asked to fill up a ridiculous amount of forms manually !
I thought that implementation of technologies was suppose to prioritise the seamless movement of data between schools regardless where you are and where you are from.
Even with the billions spent over the past decade with close to RM 200 billion ... I'm still stuck filling up these damn forms.
... end of rantings... now to happier thoughts
So after filling these forms I start to wonder, what can you actually could buy with Cryptos without the conversion to fiat.
Here is a short list which I found pretty interesting.
1.) A ticket to space !
Being one of the strong advocates of cryptocurrencies , Richard Branson actually sold some of his seats on Virgin Galactic using bitcoins. It was said that the Winklevoss twins ( the chumps which sued Mark Z for FB ) bought their tickets using BTC. Zero refund policy. source
2.) Take a degree
THE UNIVERSITY OF Nicosia in Cyprus teaches "Master of Science Degree in Digital Currency" accepts digital currency as a form of payment. Its part of their National growth plan to turn the Republic of Cyrpus into a bitcoin trading hub – the Wall Street of cryptocurrency. How cool is that !
3.) Fly business class to Las Vegas
For most people in Asia , the word Vegas is used many times from sleazy karaoke bars to name of Hotels which has no relation at all to Las Vegas. So with the price of steem and sbd soaring high .... this could be your break to buy an airline ticket to the most talked about entertainment city on the globe ... business class.
One of the earliest Online Travel Agencies ( OTAs ) which accepts crypto currencies is http://cheapair.com . Personally I've not used them yet as most of my flights are local bound. However my next international trip I would surely try it out. Have any of you used this ? Let me know your experience.

I think cryptos is still in its infancy stage with close to 800 B market cap now. The RBC report says crypto and blockchain could unlock a $10 Trillion market.
So I would keep all my potential cryptos for the future and spend using my fiat first. Unless of course if one has too much crypto profits and happy to use it.
You are absolutely right .. no doubt there are a lot of shitcoins which will just drop out of existence ... The idea is to pick the "practical coins" and hodl .

Oh well, this is Malaysia.. I bet the government know all of these can be digitized with the technologies available nowadays. A fresh grad already know how to convert physical to digital. But they know doing manual way means bigger pockets. Contractor A -> B -> C -> D instead of A -> D directly.
exactly ... its pretty ridiculous
in my country accept cryptocurrencies to buy almost anything, machines, mobile phones, etc ... I plan to do a course to learn to tattoo and they are charging me $ 130 in btc, and that is due to the devaluation of the currency in my country ... I prefer to have all my money in btc, sbd, this in the national currency. Regards!

I live in Venezuela, I do not know if you have heard about the crisis in our country ... many people have chosen to invest and accept transactions in criptocurrencies due to the devaluation of our national currency, and hyperinflation...with $ 200 you would have the best vacation of your life in the archipelago los roques hahaha
We've moved from Australia to America and the amount of paper forms we've had to fill out is craziness... car lease, mobile phone plans, etc, etc... but every time we've had to fill out an electronic form instead, something has gone horribly wrong, because the form can't cater for our situation. Having a passport instead of a US drivers license broke so many electronic forms here... whereas paper you'd just write over the top... so the moral is... build better forms people!
