What is BoilerRoom?

BoilerRoom is an initiative started by @maverickfoo to gather Steemians together in a nice environment NOT TO CHITTY CHATTY but to give each other some peer pressure to produce out awesome content in a given period of time.

During the BoilerRoom, we keep talking to the bare minimum and also say NO to Facebook, Twitter, Discord, WhatsApp or whatever you think will distract you when you're writing your own post!

@maverickfoo do encourage other Steemians to take on the initiative to organise their own BoilerRoom as well, feel free to inquire​​ with him to find out how he does it and what you can do for your own Boiler Room.

Venue - Common Man Coffee Roaster (CMCR), TTDI

@joannewong and I went to CMCR to cafe surveying the environment and secure our table seats before the events commence​​. CMCR is a very spacious, light music and nice ambient atmosphere cafe with lots of seats and tables surrounding the centre​ coffee bar.

CMCR serves brunch​, lunch, dessert, coffee, juices, smoothies and others sides finger food as well, you can check out their menu right below, click to enlarge it. Free flow of drinking water is available to ensure your body is well hydrated along the time period.

Side Note: Bring your sweater or jacket in case you feel cold under the air conditioner room for a long period of time 😉

Internet

The ​Internet is one of the important things​ which we can't neglect​ for this BoilerRoom hence we tested out using to ensure it's on par with​ the minimum standard for a gathering.

Electricity​ Plug Point

There are few plug points around the side seat surrounding the cafe, it won't be enough for 10-15 laptop 😅 but we'll bring few extension outlet cords​ to ensure your laptop is full​ power with the juice they needed! 💪🏻

Parking

For those who are driving over that Sunday, parking is available both public and private. Public parking is​ available free on the roadside during Sunday but will take sometimes to scout for empty parking; whereas Private parking is available at Menara Vads with fees applied (RM3.00 per entry via TnG only for Sunday).

Free 2 hours of parking if you spend RM50 at CMCR during the weekdays only

Else, just take a Grab over to TTDI to lessen​ the hassle of looking for parking.
