Today I got In Trouble on Steemit 😐
You read the title, Today I Got in Trouble on Steemit. Why did I repeat that again you ask?

So today I posted just a picture I drew and used the Steemit tag. It seemed like a good idea at the time, it was a bad joke really..I'm full of them.
I got a msg from steemcleaners. Big account, 71 I believe? Told me to use the steemit tag for relevant posts.."save room for the good content" or something like that..
Woah, I didn't even know that was a thing? And ouch "burn" lol
I get it I guess?..but I thought the Steemit tag would entail almost anything on Steemit. Naw..
I was wrong.
I'm definitely gonna do a better job of using specific and relevant tags going forward. I don't wanna make anyone mad or upset big wig accounts!

I got bitch slapped in the past 24 hours too. Only I was flagged by whales. It was on the last post I put up. My thing is, this is a blockchain community. Steemcleaners has no right to tell people what or where to post it. They have the power to do it because of the size of the account. So now we have individual accounts that can censor users and their content based on rules they makeup themselves. Sounds a lot like Google, Twitter and Facebook. I ditched all those services because I did not agree with how they were trying to control a narrative and blocking people that didn't fit in that viewpoint.
I'm pissed. I may even quit steem.
Yeah I was telling everyone on YouTube that Steemit's better because I can post whatever and not get demonitized like on YT.. but I guess there's still oversight here. I just read your post, I guess someone thought u were trying to get ppl into a scam even tho I said 3 times it was probably a scam? haha. I liked it and I'm actually hoping you update your results. I've heard a few ppl complaining now about whales abusing their power. See how this plays out. I hope u don't leave tho bud!
I haven't left yet. The site is 100% a scam but I made that very clear I think. The thing is I am making money and will until the scam is up. Anyways, bring censored no matter what pissed me off. I think you should be able to talk about anything and not have some whale come in and flag you. I had to buy upvotes from like 6 services to get the post to where it was showing again. Unless you are doing something truly illegal and evil like kid porn then people should be left alone. If you don't like it then mute them.
I got one of my posts flagged be Steem cleaners just because it had a referral link. It was a full post about a website, and they said I was just spamming my referral link.

That's rough, but it seems like the gave you a warning. I'm always a little paranoid about what I post not only for that reason, but I know people. If I'm not careful I get carried away and certain temperments are easily offended. I've discovered I'm good at offending them also. Lol
Someone's always watching, that's life nowadays but for alot of us it's hard to accept. Thx for dropping in and leaving a comment 👊😎
If we have to worry that our opinions may offend and possibly shouldn't be posted then maybe this is the wrong platform. Where can I go and fully exercise my free speech? That's where I want to be.

I hear steem burns hurt the worst. The guy obviously doesn't appreciate modern art! I did enjoy all the comments that grew out of his comment though, that was fun to see. He should just go back to Facebook, who's to say what Steemit should be if we can't decide that for ourselves?
