Back to Work.
Well i was running out of money - 6 months without an income and the constant drain of my finances by the state for benefits, privileges, services and levies that i don't want and don't receive and cannot cancel.
Not paying, would have the state dragging me back to court and having no income would result in the confiscation of my property (theft by the state) and as i have seen first hand the collusion and corruption in the courts here in South Australia, i know it would be a fight that cannot be won lawfully with reason or logic - so it has had to come to an end. Getting arrested for not paying for my waste bins to be emptied when i don't have any waste bins to empty would just be the type of thing that would tip me over the edge.
These past six months have been great fun and emotionally rewarding. It was hard work trying to be self sufficient and working to be "off grid". The experience has highlighted a number of areas that i need to work on and getting away from the state is far harder than i first thought, there are lots of strings attached by the state and other corporations that cannot be cut no matter how hard you try, people genuinely believe that they have the authority to remove your private rights without your consent and it's made even harder when they are supported by the ignorant majority and the corrupt courts.
i need to re-focus on areas that have been a drain on my finances and make plans to eliminate them long term or have a passive income stream that can cover the cost of things - e.g internet is $80 per month - As this country moves away from cash to card, existing off grid without a bank account etc will become impossible, so this needs to be taken into account.
i think when i no longer have hungry mouths to feed and my two children decide to fly the nest, then maybe we will make the decision to cut all ties and move away - try again.
So this last week iv'e been busy with job interviews - Wednesday - Thursday - Monday - and today Tuesday. i now start my new job as Production Manager for a local foundry on Thursday.
For now, i will keep looking for the exit - who knows maybe something will happen to help light the way:
Sorry to hear about the state of affairs RTB! Back to the Mon-Fri game eh?... I empathise with the sense of frustration, and the difficulty of clearing the Matrix from one's physical existence, although I've not gone as far as you have in this regard :D ...I'm down to 9 or 10 x 12hr shifts/month, but I've no wee chicks in the nest and even Shanti's human is my flatmate, so no responsibility! One funny pleasure I sometimes get from going to work is the kinda twisted self-pitying melancholy at the start of a shift followed by the joy of walking out in the evening, free :D
And you're not the kinda guy to drop integrity and go chasing crypto for a living either! I hope work is not far and that you may find some reasonably like-minded people who will respect your position and how you live your life. Perhaps destiny has intervened to get you to spread the message by example and this move may be of benefit to others!?...the energy moves in mysterious ways :D
Good luck anyway my friend, there is no answer that the Matrix has for a life that has integrity, sincerity and unconditional love; it is powerless against the intangible goodness of life that it knows nothing of.

Thanks @barge for the wonderful heart lifting reply :) i do hope the job goes well, as the owner seems a bit of a sociopath - iv'e had a few people warn me that he is very hard work to deal with. i miss the comfort of being sad - Nirvana - Frances Farmer will have her revenge on Seattle - i know what you mean.
You are right about crypto's, iv'e no interest in chasing squirrels like Homer Simpson. i do have a stack of silver though as long term insurance against inflation but most likely for the fast approaching economic collapse and reset of fiat.
Work isn't too far, only 35 mins which is great for here and the people at work should be fine, a few are ex employees and i believe they put in a good word for me. i suppose iv'e had a lucky life, i always seem to land on my feet. Big love to you and shanti buddy - summer is on it's way.

All good my friend, very busy now i have this job so i'm not getting much chance to post - although i am reading through and up-voting when i get the chance - please feel free to take back the delegation and give it to someone more deserving - who can post more frequently if you wish- i'm happy to keep supporting the great writing that you and the team are contributing and hopefully i will get my "mojo" back soon and start posting again.
