Hello fellow steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 150 SBD! Today you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to a continent of Australia. I am also adding a New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other steemians to which continent will NZ go to.

Beautiful colors and landscape of Australian Outback.

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Please see the Asian Sunday winner and give him support by upvoting his winner announcement post if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge: 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #7 - winner announcement!

@nenio Asian Sunday entry:

This photo shows a night view of Hong Kong. The reflections of the light of the buildings can be seen on the water. The photo was taken at Hong Kong Harbour, one of the most iconic places of this city. Some of the most important skyscraper of the city are located in this area.

I took this photo at Anna Bay near Port Stephens in NSW. The weather was gorgeous on the day so we were able to take some great photos and also have a stroll on the beach. It is a short drive from Sydney which can be done as a one day trip.

What a beautiful shot, thank you so much for your participation. Please stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

this shot I took quite a few years ago in 2005 when I visited Australia and traveled around half of the country.
I was taken in the North-Western area in Karijini. It as narrow gorge which has in contrary to the surrounding area some quite nice vegetation, it is like a beautiful oasis in the middle of the rocky and red desert

Great entry once again. Thank you for your participation and stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

A beautiful sunrise one morning at my local beach, Curl Curl on Sydney's northern beaches. It still surprises me everyday as to how many people living in Sydney still have no idea where it is...

Very nice. I was in Sydney about 12 years ago and found many nice beach side places. One day I just walked all day long from Bondi beach to the south and it was all spectacular. You are lucky to live in such a awesome city.

@maxinpower It is a beautiful city, so many beautiful beaches!

I know where Curl Curl is :)

Good to see someone here knows Curl Curl! You must be from Australia?

Yes from Sydney :)

Wow, that is simply stunning. Thank you so much for your submission. Stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

Cheers Tomas, thanks for the encouraging words!

The first time we saw this Lake we were both speechless. We knew that it must be good, but we´ve never seen a blue like this before. This photo was shot on a sunny summer day in 2013 at the Blue Lake in Mount Gambier, Australia.

Castle Hill, New Zealand

Me and my friend started to hitchhike from Arthur's Pass and the third car stopped. Our driver was a lovely American gentleman, he was waiting for his family to arrive in Christchurch, so had some time to spend. He said that it's one of his favourite places in South Island. We can say the same.

Photo taken in the pink lake situated in Westgate Park Melbourne. I think I thought it was impressive the reflection of the clouds and the measurement device indicates low level of water in the lake.

Thank you so much for your entry. Stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon.

🇳🇿New Zealand🇳🇿

I haven't been to any country, which is so versatile, varied and broad. You have the Franz Josef Glacier and Milford Sound on the South Island and Wellington, Auckland and beautiful beaches on the North Island.
Here you see the view from our B&B terrace in Plimmerton right after sunset.

Have great evening everybody😃

What a view! Thank you for sharing:).... tomas

I have been walking in the Noosa National Park7 years ago but I can remember like was yesterday. It was a wonderful coastline walk while the sun was shining and the weather was warm. I noticed Koala seating on one of the Eucalyptus tree. Immediately I took a picture when one of the surfers spoke to me: 'I have been living in Australia for last 15 years and never noticed Koala till today, thank you G day'
