RE: What is the capital of Australia?

Nice article, is there interesting things to see on the 3 hour bus ride? Is it likely to end up like a 3 hour tour to Gilligan's Island? Just being silly. The picture makes it look like a real nice town, not to big, and not to small. Are there day trips available out of town, things to go see close by, after you wear out the monuments, and other tourista type stuff?

Nothing too interesting on the way there. But there are lots of little towns and vast tracts of bushland that I find nice!

When you have exhausted the monuments, there is again the close bushland. The town is just surrounded, and it is just normally about a maximum 30 minute walk to hit the edge of the bush. From there, there are great walks, and spots for camping and picnicking!

Australia is one of the places I always wanted to visit, especially after seeing Mad Max at the drive-in when it first came out. That was a long long time ago.

Mad max! A classic, but oddly enough I've only watched it recently. That is our landscape! Apocalyptic!

But really, there are great tracts of wild bushland and forests. It is a green that doesn't exist elsewhere. A green mixed with blue or gray.
