Lemonades at Shakey's Pizza
Life can be bitter or sour or sometimes sweet. When time comes that life gives you so much LEMONS, don't fret and turn them into LEMONADES instead.
Speaking of which and its freaking hot outside, the gang head for Shakey's Pizza here in Robinsons Tacloban to get some refreshments. Actually, the place is famous for its pizza! But, the lemonades are great!
The Menu
The menu was fun to go through each page. It was huge just like a big album with pictures and added description onevery items. I think seeing a menu with actual pictures of the food is a big plus for me especially that some establishments have unfamiliar names in their food. Atleast, you know what you are getting. I dont like surprises when it comes to food. I want exactly what is being displayed. hahaha..
Our Orders
It was almost over lunch when we arrives that we were so hungry already and we ordered the Super Bunch of Lunch.
It was a platter! It comes with a piece of chicken, 2 slices of pizza, a scoop of spaghetti, garlic bread and mojos. The meal also comes with Chicken and Corn Soup and Side Salad. It cost P280.00 ($24.30).
The Beverages
And since this is all about beverages, we anonimously agreed to have their fun mixes. These are basically lemonades with a few twists. Amazingly, it was fun and appealing to the eyes.
The fun mixes only has three drinks, the Lemon Cucumber, Cooler Blue and Lemon SLush. Each glass cost P99.00 ($1.88).
Out of the three lemonades, I was more intrigued to the Cooler Blue. I wonder why it was blue though (I hope they did not put any food coloring to it). At first, I was hesitant because I have not taken any blue beverages until now.
Interestingly, it was very refreshing! and true it was still a lemonade. Only it was blue!!! hahahaha.. How did they do it?? I have no idea.
My other friend enjoyed her Lemon Cucumber, there were actually cucumber bits in her drink. While the Lemon Slush was inclined to an iced tea.
