The Best Shaomai @Shanghai

Shao Mai(烧麦)is a kind of steamed dumplings which is popular in the south of the Yangtze River in China. In Shanghai, you may find this dish in many food stalls, but Gu Yi Wan(顾一碗)is the first chain restaurant which launches Shao Mai on its main menu, and their Shao Mai is definitely the most delicious in Shanghai. Here, Wonton(馄饨)is also recommended. In summer, the sesame butter mixed sauce is more appetizing than dumpling soup. It is a price valued restaurant and highly recommended.

烧麦是不是蒸饺啊?跟蒸饺长的一样啊
烧麦其实分两种,
一种馅是用糯米肉糜酱油调制,没有汤汁。
还有一种是类似汤包有汤汁,又叫“下沙烧麦”。
不过都是蒸出来的,宽泛来说其实也都可以叫蒸饺。。。
噢,看来我吃的是下沙烧麦了~
都很好吃!欢迎以后有机会来品尝“酱油糯米肉糜”馅子的干烧麦,因为没有汤汁很多人会买了当早饭吃(方便路上吃)~
