Rujak Natsepa, Ambon, Maluku
Ambon adalah ibukota dari provinsi Maluku yang merupakan salah satu daerah yang paling awal didatangi oleh pedagang Belanda karena tertarik dengan komoditas pala yang sangat banyak di daerah tersebut.
Ada banyak makanan khas dari daerah ini, tapi hampir semua tamu dari luar Maluku yang datang ke daerah ini pasti akan diajak untuk menikmati Rujak Natsepa di tepian pantai Natsepa.
Tempat ini sebenarnya adalah jejeran kios-kios kecil yang menjual rujak. Ada lebih dari 15 kios yang berjualan rujak di sini. Uniknya para penjual rujak di sini semuanya adalah mama-mama alias semuanya wanita.
Ada dua hal yang membuat rujak di sini berbeda dengan rujak lain yang ada di Indonesia. Rujak Natsepa menggunakan buah tomi-tomi (Flacourtia Inermis) sebagai penguat rasa asam serta menggunakan pala (Myristica Fragrans) sebagai salah satu bumbunya.
Untuk harga sepiring rujak kita harus membayar Rp.10.000.
Rasa rujak di sini juga bisa diminta agar sesuai dengan selera, misalnya tidak pedas atau bahkan luar biasa pedas.
Sambil makan rujak, kita juga bisa menikmati debur ombak dari pantai yang langsung ada di belakang.
Ambon is the capital of the province of Maluku which is one of the earliest areas visited by Dutch as it is attracted by the many nutmeg commodities in the area.
There are many typical foods from this area, but almost all guests from outside Maluku who come to this area will surely be invited to enjoy Rujak Natsepa on the Natsepa Beach.
This place is actually lined with small kiosks selling rujak. There are more than 15 kiosks selling rujak here. Uniquely the seller here are all women.
There are two things that make rujak natsepa different from other rujak that exist in Indonesia. Rujak Natsepa uses tomi-tomi (Flacourtia Inermis) as a sour flavor enhancer and uses nutmeg (Myristica Fragrans) as one of the marinade.
For the price of a plate of salad we have to pay Rp.10.000.
The taste here can also be requested, for example not spicy or even extraordinary spicy.
While eating rujak, we can also enjoy the waves from the beach directly behind.
