Wait! Don't get too carried away with the coffee shop's signboard! If you do not know, Chinese coffee shops are usually operate based on shift. The signboard could be one name, and the operator could be another! Today I'm going to introduce you 大三元 Seafood Restaurant. Apologize if you do not understand Chinese, the restaurant operator for night shift only have Chinese name! That shows you how authentic Chinese are they! And if you are coming to Malacca later and planning a to do list, because to copy and paste the restaurant name 大三元 or you'll end up disappointed unable to find it from the map.

Just in case if you couldn't find them, WhatsApp them! Follow the address you'll be there. Back to why coffee shop name as Sin Heng? It's simple. The location of the shop is at Sin Heng Garden, the placed used to be residentail area. And now turned commercial area. Therefore, the shop was there for more than 60 years according to the "night shift" operator. And night shift operator is there for 15 years already! Don't worry too much on communication, they can understand English pretty well, and they can deliver just as much Engrish enough for you to order food. Do you want crap? Do you want porn? Big or small? Don't bother to flip the menu, or you'll faint. I didn't show you because I fainted for 15 minutes whilst trying to order. In the end, I asked the "captain" to show me the way, but I want him guarantee me affordable price and below 100 bucks!

A highly recommended dish, prok rib king! They call it 排骨王! The rib has been fried and coated with a layer of sweet, lightly sour, lightly salted sauce. Feels like tomato sauce, but it's not. Feels like plum sauce, but it's not. Or may be it's a little bit of everything! Lightly fruity, sweet, sour, for a moment my mind gone blank, enjoying so much on this piece of meat in my mouth. Not fogetting to start chewing on the bone, and the marrow mixed with sauce going through my tongue, giving me a moment of heaven.

We ordered a dish of omelet egg with prawn(虾仁煎蛋). Take note, it's full size prawn! Not small shrimp. Be very careful when you order this kind of dish, make sure the price tag is properly spelt, indicate the size you want. If you have less than 5 person, do not attempt to go for L size, just go with S or M will do. I ordered this because we have both kids with us, and we're just afraid if they couldn't take the pork rib king. Once again, before I manage to snap a photo, a big chunk of it is missing!

Nope! I didn't tell lie. Look at her plate! Whoever tells you how good a dish is, it could be over exaggerated, but these fellas can never lie! Look how fast they react, how fast they finish the food, immediately you can tell how good the food they served!

And came the rice noodle fried crab! He said he will make sure within my budget! He said he's got no more big crap, only medium crap and small crap! So I said fine, bring any crab that is within my budget! And came two huge crab! The crab meat is so fresh that the flesh stay in one piece(if it's not fresh, the flesh will disintegrate). Eat this, it will reminds you of sea water! I started to worry if this is really within my budget!

We ordered a cup of hot barley, a mug of sour plum, and a mug of carrot milk. Barley is fine, but due to the fact of grain helps filling stomach, so be very careful not to drink too much or it will spoil the appetite. The sour plum and carrot milk, is a wallet killer. They're sweet and easy to go down, especially iced. When you are very thirsty and having a fiery tongue due to spicy food, these thing doesn't wash them down, but it keeps you wanting to drink more! It's evil! But I like. LOL

Moment of truth! He lied! Let's break it down, the pork rib is 12 bucks, the crab noodle is 83 and the prawn omelet is 12. Total 107 and 2 bucks for the white rice for both kids. Considering the size of the crab is so huge, I'm guessing he's having hard time to find a suitable weight crap to keep within 100 bucks. I am really impressed and the food taste simply blow my mind. Long have I forgotten such "sea water" experience in my life! It's a give an take situation! For the price, for the quality of food, definitely worth it!

Here is a little bit of extra information of the restaurant. The main signboard is for the day shift. Night shift signboard is here, beside the main road. If you're driving here, within 200 meter as soon as you found a parking space, don't take the chance. This road is from one side of the town to the other side of the town. It's kinda in between. You don't want to get pass this restaurant without parking, and you'll end up spend another half an hour in the traffic!

This is what I mean. If you miss it, you'll have to go all the way, forced to make a turn, and a big detour at the town area. A friendly note, save some space as I notice the next door restaurant got Satey! Who wants BBQ, and I can smell it from here! Mark my word, I'll be back!
